Singing:
It has always been something I feel meant to do. For years I have been
studying with Dr. Karel Bouse of MASPA and have participated in numerous
operas (That's right: I sing classical music).
She has taught me (and is still teaching me) ways to take care of my voice
and make it more beautiful. While classical music and country are two
completely different styles, they both have contributed greatly to my sound
and my passion for music in general.
Guitar and Songwriting:
In the summer of 2008, a friend of my mom's gave me a guitar. I liked it and
enjoyed playing it, but it wasn't until October of that year that I got
really serious about playing it and learning all my chords. From then on, I
was hooked. I had always had a problem showing my emotions and I needed an
outlet, so I tried to write what I was feeling.
One thing led to another and after spending a lot of time trying to figure
out words that rhymed, I had written my very own song. I learned that when
things happened in my life, I could always convey my emotions into music and
maybe create something beautiful that people that are feeling the same way I
am can appreciate. God blessed me with a couple of songs that a lot of my
friends and family liked to hear and that's when I realized that I could
connect with people through my music.
I'm glad God blessed me in that way and I thank him for the opportunity to
share my music with you. I hope you enjoy it. :) For more information or
