Member of ASCAP. A Personal Note from Dylan My name is Dylan Robinson, and I am from Bastrop, Louisiana. I was born October 22, 1990, in Monroe, Louisiana, into a musical family. My dad, Scotty Robinson, has been a singer and songwriter since age 16 and has played guitar for Freddy Fender,Freddy Hart, and others. He also recorded several songs in the mid and late 80's. When I turned 2 he taught me my first song," Do Lord" and ironically my second song was “ I Like My Women Just a Little on the Trashy Side.” At the age of 5, before I could even reach the pedals on the piano, my dad began teaching me how to play. At the age of 15 I traveled and sang with the country gospel trio Eleventh Hour. We toured in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama and Georgia. I've since left the group to persue my dream of becoming a country artist and songwriter. This is not to say I've put gospel music aside. Since then, I’ve performed with several Grand Ole Opry members and played with the Louisiana Hayride. Singing is just what I love to do. Dylan Experience: Performed with the country gospel trio Eleventh Hour Participated in the Country Music Colgate Showdown - placed 1st locally and 2nd regionally |
