At only nine years old Alaina is rocking the country music world. She is a singer/songwriter who has won numerous awards for her musical talent . She was 2007 Eva Idol, 2008 Northwest Shoals Idol, 2008 Doublehead Spirit Idol ,2008 Halloween Hoot Jr. Division Winner, and she was the 2nd place recepient of the Mark Narmore's Young Songwriter's Award for the song she wrote "He Don't Know". She is a member of Kid Nashville and Nashville Spotlight Kids Club,& GCGMA. Alaina has been performing in front of an audience since she was 4 yrs. old and is no stanger to the spotlight. She has sung all over the state and has opened up for many local celebrities , such as Jeff Whitlow, Robert Montgomery, and Blue Persuasion. Alaina has appeared on local radio and Television shows in Alabama & Tenn. She was invited to sing at the 5th Annual Franklin Bluegrass Festival in Franklin KY, where she performed on stage with 2008 Entertaining Group of the Year "Nothing Fancy Bluegrass". Alaina sings country, bluegrass & gospel. She plays the mandolin and is learning the guitar. Often times in her act she will incorporate a little buck dance and comedy. There is only one thing Alaina loves more than performing and that is songwriting. Since her first song "He Don't Know", Alaina has written several more songs : "Only Child Again", "I Want A Friend"....just to name a few. She writes about real life experiences and subjects that are close to her heart. Her award winning song "He Don't Know" was recently made into a music video. Alaina hopes one day to be a famous singer/songwriter like her idols Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn as well as be a great Mandolin player like her favorite Bluegrass singer Rhonda Vincent.
